This 541-foot-long railroad bridge is 100 feet tall, and located in an environmentally constrained area on the California coastline. Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction used the CMGC process to develop and evaluate innovations for foundations, lightweight fill, and building bridge elements offline to reduce disruption to the railroad during construction. As a result, the team replaced the existing bridge within a 14-day rail outage window.
