Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction performed the concrete scope for a new wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 18 MGD. In total, crews placed 24,000 cubic yards of concrete for a new influent pump station, headworks building with screening equipment and grit removal, concrete bioreactors, four secondary clarifiers, BioMag recovery facility with pumps, solids holding tank, solids building with dewatering equipment, UV building for disinfection, two electrical buildings, and yard piping. All work was completed while keeping the existing facilities operational.
