Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction participated in the design process of UDOT’s first progressive design-build and continually drove exploration of innovative concepts to reduce cost and third party utility impacts. The project team ultimately decided to use a depressed US-89 roadway alignment which avoided a key utility relocation, balanced fills, and improved views for residents. Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction was part of a JV team that built nine miles of new six-lane freeway with two grade-separated crossings and four new interchanges.
