Scope: RLW completed a new 4 MGD surface water treatment plant to treat water from the Provo River for use by the Jordanelle Special Service District culinary distribution system. In addition to the water treatment plant, the project also built finished water pumping facilities and a raw water snowmaking system.

Innovation: RLW built a 25,000 square ft. building, installed four 1 MGD treatment facilities, a treatment chemical feed system, a cast-in-place clear well basement with a finished water pumping facility, and raw water snowmaking pump station with six vertical turbine “canned” pumps. Each of these facilities required under-slab piping for raw and finished water.
