Minuteman V Class Office Building

RLW performed structural concrete work for a new five-level office building, including a large mat and spot footings, foundation walls, 25,000 square feet of slab-on-grade, grouting of structural steel columns, placing and finishing 104,000 square feet of lightweight concrete on all suspended metal decks, placing and finishing metal stairs and landings, and constructing footings and a pad for a new cell phone tower. RLW’s in-house survey department performed checks of the concrete placing crew during slab-on-metal deck pours, and the work achieved a flatness of within 1/8-inch on all suspended decks.
